Mid 40s w0man here looking for any ''m'' that like to have fun outdoors. Hi, I am a guitarist who plays pristine leads and expressive rhythms, and slide guitar as needed. Also backup vocals. I have pro gear. I generally play about 2 gigs a month but flexible. I prefer 70s to 80s rock and some 90s... classic rock/southern rock/funky dance music... but I have played everything at one point or another. I am good with newer pop/rock material (Bruno Mars, Taylor Swift, Miranda Lambert ect...) if this is a dance/pop band situation. I am only looking for an active working band, or close to that point. Not interested in bands that don't have a good singer already. Start ups with a committed singer will be considered. Not interested in offbeat niche bands, I am a mainstream guy. I am not interested in originals. I am not interested in bands further south than chester. Richmond is preferred. On first contact, tell me your current band line up, and share a setlist or bands you do. Then I will send you links. I do not respond to random one sentence inquiries...if you are doing something good than explain it to me. If you sing too, that’s a plus. We are an older settled group playing mainly backyard/river parties, county fairs, breweries, etc. for the love of the music. We play rock, blues, southern rock and country rock covers from the 70’s to current (Petty, CCR, Bowie, Stones, KW Shepard, Eagles, K of Leon, Who, Etheridge). Looking to play out no more than once a month or so. Not a job for us, it is more a passion. We’d like you to come in and play the leads for our music and add songs that you like. We practice weekly in the Staples Mill Glen Allen area. We have top-quality equipment including digital mixer, PA, mains, and stage monitors. Hit me up to discuss and let’s make some music!
