Hi there, my name is Ben. I'm 28, AFAB, and artist studying in Milwaukee, WI. Since I was a teenager, moving to Portland, ME has been a dream of mine, but life circumstances never lined up for me. These days, I am at a breaking point where I want nothing more than to leave life as it is behind and start somewhere new. I have about enough in my pocket for a one-way Greyhound to Portland, and some extra to get settled with some basic essentials as needed. I'm looking for somebody to take me in, in exchange for work. I will do any kind of household chores that you would rather not do - cleaning, cooking (I'm AWESOME at cooking), laundry, you name it. I am clean, low maintenance, and I don't eat much. I am a happy and bright person and would bring nothing but positive vibes to your household. This would by no means be a permanent situation. What I am looking for is time, peace, and safety to recharge and restart my life. I won't be coming without at least a game plan or two on how to get myself on my feet and living on my own. I am an artist with education in Art History. I want to be a teacher to some capacity, and I will do anything I can to achieve this as a profitable endeavor. But I can't do that here. At the brink of my breaking point, Portland is the only place I would rather escape to and start something new. What I would come with: Some clothes, I have a very simple wardrobe A few books Art supplies A laptop and Chromebook A couple sentimental toys/dolls Some personal toiletries A smile, and No additional baggage!
