Thus putin had trump weaken NATO and browbeat Ukraine. putin underestimated the American people's disregard for buffoonery and over estimated trump's capacity to endure himself to the American public. With Biden undoing much of trump's shameful legacy, putin saw his last chance to restore russia to glory. A mis-calculation that will backfire.
