POINT PLEASANT BORO – The Beaver Dam Bridge was temporarily shut down on Friday. The span between Point Pleasant and Brick was closed around 3:30 p.m. to all vehicular traffic, police said. Police said the span was closed because of mechanical problems. The closure was expected to last hour or more.
