I'd like to hire someone who is interested in food nutrition and who also has a little experience with Tarot cards to set up your small table and 2 chairs in front of our store to offer complimentary "food tarot" readings using a tarot deck that we will supply (see picture). The deck is called "The Food Healing Oracle Deck® - Nourishing Wisdom from Mother Earth" and contains 60 cards, and a guidebook. Once we agree you will do this you can come to the store, get the deck so you can familiarize yourself with it, and be ready to go. Here is is online:. Also, see pictures in this post. The occasion is Arts Walk, April 22 and 23, and we'd like you there out front or (if weather is bad) in the lobby offering these complimentary readings on behalf of our spice store to the people who come by. There will be no cost to the customers for this (I will pay you per hour) but you are welcome to have a tip jar and to keep all tips. We're looking for simple card spreads and readings, 5-10 min max per person. You should have done some Tarot readings (even casually is OK), be somewhat of a foodie (we are a food store after all), like interacting with people, be energetic, and not take yourself too seriously. This isn't therapy and we're not trying to change the world. This is for fun and entertainment only. . If you're interested in this gig please let me know and tell me something about you, your abilities and experience with Tarot and with dealing with the public. We are located on 5th Avenue SE in historic downtown Olympia, across the street from the art film house Capitol Theater. You'll need to bring a card table, two folding chairs, and a tip jar if you want one. You can put a tablecloth on the table and some flowers. If you offer more comprehensive tarot readings in your regular life, you can have a stack of your cards to give out. Artswalk is Friday April 22 and Saturday April 23. We'd like you here when the store is open, from 1-6 on Friday and to stay a little longer if the store remains open; and from 11-5 on Saturday. That's 11 hours minimum, and I will pay $15 an hour for the 2 days. I'll need you to invoice me to get paid and I will pay immediately with Paypal. This is a fun, people-facing activity for 2 days in Olympia.
