This is Lila, it stand for little lady, she's a purebred great dane. Lila is 4yrs old. She is being rehomed because of dog aggression. Lila needs a home where she is the only dog. She likes cats and does really well with them. We make jokes often that she should've been one. She loves most people, some people she can be weary of in typical great dane fashion. She just barks at them. However, I wouldn't put her in a home with really small children. She's NOT aggressive with people by any stretch, but she is rambunctious and could easily knock over little ones. Our son is 9 and she is fantastic with him. Lila is kennel trained but would love a world with no kennels. She is in need of more training for sure. She knows how to sit and go lay down. She comes to her names or any of her many nicknames. She's so smart and can give you a run for your money if she's bored. She's highly food and play motivated. She would thrive in sports. Her favorite place is curled up on the couch and shadowing her person. Her whole day would be fulfilled if she could just follow someone around all day with her toy piggy. She loves to play and goes bonkers for a laser. I have reached out to her breeder and she's putting out feelers on her end as well. You will absolutely have to be connected to her breeder and I will want updates and to come visit her, so we can be sure she is safe and loved. There will also be a home check requirement to be sure she is safe. Lila is microchipped and spayed. She's up to date on her rabies vaccine but I think her dhpp is overdue. I have no issues with getting it done before she goes. We use advantix 2 for flea treatment. My heart is absolutely broken to have to do this but we know it's the right decision for her and us.
