Award-winning, Grammy-balloted female singer/songwriter is seeking to hire a keyboard player, guitarist and bass player for two, upcoming gigs in The Villages. Dates for these shows are August 30 and Nov. 11 and they will benefit two large veterans organizations.
There are six original songs to learn, which are a mix of country, folk and Americana. Chord and lyric sheets will be provided, as well as mp3s of the tunes. This project will not require a huge time commitment, as the songs can be learned on your own and then worked out with the entire band in a few rehearsals.
We are looking for people who have a heart to help the veterans and who are serious about seeing the project through. There is guaranteed compensation for both shows. In addition, this will likely turn into a long-term opportunity for those looking for more frequent work.
