I need an attorney who will sue the USPS on a “pay if we win” basis. USPS has refused to deliver my mail since the first of January 2022 because a street that leads to my street is closed, and they refuse to use an alternate route to get to my house. The closed portion of the street was supposed to re-open at the end of March, but as of this date there is no sign that that is happening. I live about 2 miles from downtown Ocoee but my mail is delivered by the Apopka post office which is approximately 13 miles away. I am 90 years old and it is an extreme hardship, one that I can not afford, to drive the 13 miles and back to pick up my mail. All of my next door neighbors get their mail delivered by the Ocoee post office and they have an Ocoee address. I have suggested that USPS change my address to Ocoee but they refuse to make any changes at all. I have exhausted every avenue of resolving this problem with the USPS and therefore I have decided to try to bring legal action against them for all the trips I have had to make to pick up my mail, the hardships, and the penalties associated with not being able to receive and pay some of my bills on time.
