Pay scale: $18.00 - $20.00 hourly Hours: 4:00 pm until end of shift (overtime required) Work Days: Sunday- Friday (Saturday off and another day within the week 2 split days off) Job Duties: This warehouse position requires knowledge of operating an electric pallet jack and or forklift. Tasks will include selecting the correct product from racking, labeling product using a RF scanner, palletizing product to build customer orders, and deliver the product to the dock area. This position does require to work in different temperature and humidity variations based on location of item. • Hand select order in different temperature atmosphere (dry, cooler, and freezer) • Operate assigned equipment: correctly place labels on correct product • Stack product on pallets in accordance with proper selecting procedures • Operate an electric pallet jack or forklift to transport product • Stage pallets for labeling on proper dock locations • Follow Vitco Foods preferred work methods at all times and immediately advise supervisor of any unsafe conditions. • Follow sanitation requirements in order to comply with policy set forth by the company and by AID (American Institute of Baking) • Maintain and safely operate all assigned equipment, including but not limited to pallet jack, LOP unit, and personal protective equipment. Perform pre and post trip inspections and safely operate all mechanical equipment. • Must be able to frequently lift product that weights (1-80 lbs.) for up to 75 inches. Constantly bend and twist while operating a pallet jack/forklift, retrieving items from lower shelf area. • Attend company required meetings, and other duties may be assigned. Qualifications: High School Diploma or General Education Development (GED) or equivalent Minimum 1 year warehouse experience Minimum 1 year experience operating an electric pallet jack or forklift Pass pre-employment testing (Drug Screen, Background check, physical abilities test) Apply Today!! 715 E.
