Informal Jam Sessions Hawaii Kai! Musicians and Jam Space Wanted! I am looking for some people to jam with once a week (or flexible) who can hold their own in a group jam, harmonize, and have fun playing and singing for the enjoyment of it. I play a six string acoustic but primarily a Fender Stratocaster and am looking for others playing acoustic guitar and acoustic-style music. A bassist would be awesome too (I can also play bass), a drummer even cooler! The type of stuff we would jam: • 70s classic rock • Some Hawaiian • 70s/80s local music like Kalapana, C&K, Makaha Sons, Sunday Manoa, Ka’au Crater Boys, etc. • Reggae (no dancehall) • A bit of blues I do not have a place to jam at my house so am looking for someone who has a space for us and likes the same stuff I do. I am looking to stay in the Hawaii Kai area, so no offers from outside the HK. No drugs! Ideally it would be nice to jam, trade taking lead vox on songs, trade a few guitar solos, work on harmonies and just enjoy being with fellow musicians. You don’t have to be able to do guitar solos, as long as you can sing and play songs and have fun playing song all the way through this could be a cool thing.
