You choose the music and we show you how to meditate with it! Music can be any genre/style. The most important thing is that you decide.
The aim of this workshop is to introduce healthcare professionals to an accessible way to practice mindfulness by meditating with their own music. Our two studies have shown that mindfully listening to music you personally select is more relaxing and enjoyable than simply listening to your music alone and just as effective as standard mindfulness exercises for stress management. By the end of the workshop participants will know what intune is and how to use it for personal and professional practice .
*Please bring a music playing device, such as a cell phone and headphones.
