ServiceMaster Restoration Services in Hamden is seeking a reliable, motivated self starter to join our team. ServiceMaster Restore franchises are the first responders to disasters of all kinds throughout the region from floods to fires to hurricanes and blizzards. We are a full service mitigation contractor, and we do everything from water clean-up to full construction. You don’t need experience in this field, BUT a great attitude and a willingness to work is important. So: • Experience in fire clean-up, water and flood restoration techniques, and mold remediation.is desirable but we’ll train the right people. • Construction experience is very helpful • You’ll also be trained to complete water and fire damage restoration to ServiceMaster standards. • You will work alongside experienced personnel in disaster restoration projects from beginning to end and learn all facets of disaster restoration including reconstruction • It is important that you are willing and able to communicate clearly with other crew members and follow instructions precisely. • And there is plenty of room to grow here. Requirements: • Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation • Must be able to pass a background check • Must be available 40 hours per week. • Must be available for emergency work after hours and weekends one week per month • Must be able to lift 75 pounds • Must own some basic hand tools and have some experience using them • Must be willing to work hard and learn all aspects of this business
