Perkins secondary and postsecondary recipients come to learn the new Perkins Local Application system. Hands-on help for FY23 application.
Secondary and postsecondary Perkins-eligible recipients are invited to this hands-on workshop designed to jumpstart the FY23 Perkins Local Application process in the new web-based application system. Come learn how to navigate the system and prepare to build Goals, Strategies and Action Steps to address issues identified in your Perkins Local Needs Assessment prioritized Root Cause Analyses. Prepare to create fundable Strategies drawn from Program Improvement Plans, if/as applicable (budget numbers not required at this point). Information on “promising practices” will be presented by your peers. This will be a working session supported by the Office of Career Technical Education and Tech Prep regional consultants, and participants must complete pre-work that will be assigned after registration, and must bring a laptop computer and be able to log into the Perkins Local Needs Assessment system and the new Perkins Local Application system (coming soon—but not yet available).
