A workshop to learn how to communicate with dream symbols via shamanic journeying and active imagination with magazine collages. Everybody dreams. It’s one thing that every human has in common. Science says that each person has about 3-5 dreams per night, if not more. Whether one remembers their dreams is all based on relationship to the dream content. When actively engaging with dream content, more dream content seems to arise in our conscious awareness. The brain begins to deem this as useful information to remember, thus we remember more. The interesting thing about dreams - is that dream symbols can be packed with wisdom and guidance from the depths of the psyche when we simply take the time to communicate with them. Yes - you read that right, you can communicate with dream symbols! But how can a crumbling beach staircase that showed up as an image in my sleeping mind communicate, you ask? Come find out! Join Tiffany Purtell & Sophia Kopasakis for a night of learning to communicate with dream images, characters & symbols through multiple avenues of exploration. We will begin the night by deepening into a meditative state & connecting with a dream symbol that your psyche brings to your attention. Next, we will spend time creating intuitively guided magazine collages based off of whatever dream symbol surfaced for you (while sharing some freshly made herbal tea). We will then enter into a shamanic journey to connect with your dream symbol to allow it to take you on an inward excursion and teach you more about its message to you. We will end by mindfully engaging in an active imagination dialogue with your collage followed by casual discussion about your experience (optional). Don’t have any dream symbols that you can think of right now? Not a problem! By deepening into a meditative state with intention, it is likely that a dream symbol from the past will surface in your consciousness. Parma, OH 44130 Time: 7pm-8:30pm on April 30th, 2022 ***Please bring a journal, something comfortable to lay on and perhaps a blanket to cover with. Yoga mats and blankets available, but number is limited. (Magazine collage items will be provided) About the facilitators: Tiffany is a registered yoga teacher, certified shamanic reiki master, and a student/teacher of herbalism. She is a curious, nurturing being and diligent student of life who always eager to share her gifts with the world and help others find their own inner-healer. Sophia is a Shamanic Healer and an energy flow artist. She loves to combine her Shamanism with her energy flow arts to help guide and heal others along their own personal journeys. Sophia has a deep love for understanding energy flow and the ways of spirit.
