Join us for an intimate evening with author Jennifer Dupee: wine tasting, author reading, and book signing of The Little French Bridal Shop Hygge House Books presents an evening with author Jennifer Dupee to discuss her inspirations, recommendations, The Little French Bridal Shop, and a sneak peek of her work-in-progress! We're thrilled to have Jennifer back with us to celebrate the paperback release of her novel and to kick off the new Hygge House Books Local Author Series at Broken Creek Vineyard.* WHEN: Wednesday, May 25, 2022 WHERE: Broken Creek Vineyard, ​​614 South St, Shrewsbury, MA 01545 TIME: 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM TICKETS INCLUDE**: wine tasting (five 1-oz pours or one glass of a 5-oz pour), along with a Broken Creek etched glass to take homecopy of Jennifer's book The Little French Bridal Shop to be signed following the readinggourmet sandwich box: including chips, a chocolate chip cookie, and bottled waterHygge House "book tasting" featuring Jennifer's inspirations and current favoritesAdditional wine and books will be available for purchase. *Register for at least two events in our author series and receive a $5.00 discount off of each admission! ** A portion of proceeds will be used to donate new books to The 17th Annual Worcester: The City That Reads Book Drive to benefit Worcester city school children.** Jennifer Dupee's life-long passion for old houses inspired Elmhurst, the grand home featured in her debut novel, THE LITTLE FRENCH BRIDAL SHOP, which was published by St. Martin’s Press in March 2021 and was chosen as Good Housekeeping magazine’s April 2021 Book of the Month. She is a graduate of Brown University, where she received her honors in Creative Writing.
