This event is designed to give veterans a place to network and find supports within their community at large. Suicide is a leading cause of death within the military and veteran communities. It is up to us to make a difference. The Big Lick Ruck was started in 2016 as a way to open communications to the larger community in SW Virginia. Multiple organizations and supporters take part in this event giving those who participate an understanding of their support in Roanoke, Virginia.
