St. Joseph Prayer Breakfast honoring "LOUISIANA's ST. JOSEPH THE WORKER DAY" sponsored by USA Energy Workers Join us, in response to the Louisiana State Senate Resolution RS 116 in honor of the working men and women of Louisiana, who get up every day and work hard to provide for and lift-up their families, their communities, the State of Louisiana, and the United States of America! Wherein, May1st of each calendar year is to be observed in honor of working men and women in Louisiana, who get up every day and work hard to provide for and lift-up their families, their communities, the state of Louisiana, and the United States of America. We are grateful for your efforts in honoring, celebrating, and elevating the working men and women of our State. Additionally, Louisiana Senate State Resolution 116 of the 2021 Regular Session established May 1 of each calendar year as “St. Joseph the Worker Day” in the state of Louisiana. Furthermore, Louisiana Senate State Resolution 116 of the 2021 Regular Session urged and requested of “the executive branch of the state of Louisiana, to the extent practical, to cause an appropriate celebration on May first of each calendar year to bring recognition and appreciation to the dignity of all working men and women in Louisiana.” Our event is free, non-partisan, will include faith-based participation, and will seek to honor the many and varied vocations and professions of our great State, including but not limited to farmers, fisherman, teachers, healthcare professionals, first responders, armed services, construction workers, retailer workers, restaurant workers, energy workers, mechanics, etc. Join Co-Emcees: Scott A. Angelle - former LA Lt. Governor & LA Senator Fred Mills, Jr. and Event Chairperson Jennifer Picard Angelle. Enjoy breakfast and a talk on characteristics of St. Joseph the Worker to elevate and celebrate our workers. This event is FREE but requires tickets.
