The Girls Design 4 Good ’22 Challenge is an ALL-DAY Girls Only Engineering Design Challenge supported by Million Women Mentors of Louisiana The Girls Design 4 Good ’22 Challenge is an ALL-DAY Girls Only Engineering Design Challenge supported by Million Women Mentors of Louisiana and LaSTEM. The event is a FREE hands-on workshop for 7th and 8th grade girls, designed to make STEM exciting and relevant. The theme for this challenge is, “Who straightens your crown?” Using the engineering design process, the girls will be challenged to look at the world around them and determine where an app can be used to address a need that girls face in this fast-paced world. Phenomenal speakers will be on hand to inspire and offer advice to the participants, showing them that STEM can be used to change the world.
