Join us for a free event dedicated to connect small business owners with important knowledge and resources. The Downtown Albany Business Improvement District presents a free Small Business Assistance Event at the African American Cultural Center of the Capital Region, hosted by Angelo Maddox of Fresh & Fly. Are you interested in starting or expanding your business, or just in need of some support? Join us for this free event to discuss the following topics with experts and other business owners: Grants and loan programs to start or expand a small businessBusiness model developmentEntrepreneurial training classesOne-on-one business counseling assistancePeer mentoring supportLegal assistanceLocation assistanceRepresentatives from Albany County, Albany Law's Community Economic Development Clinic, Capitalize Albany, the Community Loan Fund of the Capital Region, and the New York Small Business Development Center will be on-hand to speak with business owners and entrepreneurs. The event is free to attend, but pre-registration is encouraged. Please do not attend the event if you have tested positive or display any symptoms of COVID-19, or if you have been in close contact with anyone that has tested positive in the past 14 days. COVID-19 is still a risk and attendees acknowledge that they are responsible for their own safety at the event.
