Learn how to paint kitchen cabinets, stair railings, and refinish furniture. If you love to get your hands a little dirty and have a love for design, this class is for you. I'm the owner of Metamorphosis Design and use my former training in interior design and art teaching to now help clients update their home by refinshing kitchen cabinets, stair railings, and furniture. I started teaching these classes because we've had to repair a lot of jobs that were done wrong and I understand it's not in everyone's budget to pay to have someone else to the work. The way to get the best finish and durability is to prep properly and use the right product. And I will be teaching you all about this. I personally enjoy refinishing dining sets and mid century furniture pieces so I can teach you about staining as well, whether it be stripping the piece, sanding it, and then the best way to protect and seal it. Feel free to bring a small piece to work on during class and try the product, or a cabinet door. I will plan to have all materials available to get started.
