Description
The Warehouse Associate primary responsibilities are related to maintaining efficient and productive daily operations that support KAM delivery and installation schedules.
This position reports to Manager Warehouse Operations.
Associate supports all aspects of daily operations, along with below specific responsibilities:
- Daily responsibilities;
o Assist with truck loading for daily customer deliveries and store transfers.
o Assist with receiving, unloading and storage of inbound deliveries to KAM warehouse.
o Assist locating, pulling and staging and preparing product for next day deliveries.
o Assist unloading return delivery trucks.
o Scan products returned to warehouse from other locations.
o Maintain efficient and timely transfers.
o Assist locating, pulling and staging products for return to vendor.
- Utilize wireless scanning procedures, working collaboratively with warehouse staff.
- Perform work following safety guidelines.
- Assist with miscellaneous support of facility maintenance, housekeeping and operations.
o Monitor trash dumpster and schedule pick-up when needed.
o Maintain cardboard compactor usage, and maintenance.
o Clean work areas as needed.
o Assist with building and landscape maintenance.
Candidate Requirements:
- Prior work experience in fulfillment and/or distribution center, or warehouse operations.
o Shipping, receiving operations experience.
- Warehouse equipment (forklift, etc.) operations experience preferred, not required.
- Current Mass. State driver license.
- Prior work references.
