Need a reprieve from your impoverished life in these trying times? The Ouran Host Club presents a fun-filled summer festival for all ages! The DFW Host Club's Commoner's Festival is a one-day event of summer fun for anime fans! The DFW Host Club will be providing live stage performances, field-day type competitions, carnival-style games, and plenty of vendors to get your anime fix and live the Summer Episode of your dreams. While the event is based on the anime Ouran High School Host Club, you don't need to be a fan to enjoy the event and all it has to offer! Our event will take place on Saturday, May 21st, 2022 at the Carrollton Amphitheater in Carrollton, TX from 1pm to 7pm! By RSVPing for free with Eventbrite and checking in at the venue, you'll receive a free entry in our special prize raffle! The Host Club has plenty of things for you to partake in while at the festival to have a fun time! Poor Man Pavillion Events: On center stage will be hosted our free events! Whether you decide to watch skits, performances, or (even participate in!) the cosplay contest, you can kick back and watch the show! Host Club Hideaway: Join the Host Club in the back of the stage to check out their photo op areas, Commoner Station (for water, commoner's iced coffee, and snacks!), Host Club Merchandise Booth, and of course our special Private Picnic area where you might get the chance to win some exclusive time with the Hosts! Field Day Competitions: It wouldn't be summer without some playful competitions to win bragging rights (and fun prizes!). Participate or spectate in events like tug of war, balloon relay races, water gun wars, and more! Carnival Games: Test your luck in games of chance by playing carnival-style games such as balloon darts, ring toss, and more! Art & Merch Vendors: We're happy to be hosting some talented vendors for the event! Interesting in being one? Apply here to join the fun! Food Trucks: Don't think we've forgotten about food! While the Commoner Station will have some quick snacks, we'll be getting some food trucks so you don't have to leave the venue to eat!
