Vocalist Albulena “Doms” Berisha and guitarist Joe Lanza showcase their creation of the Sonic Weekend. SONIC WEEKEND vocalist Albulena "Doms" Berisha was inspired at seven years by Soul, R&B, and Hip-Hop to sing and write lyrics. Accompanist Joe Lanza at fourteen years old was compelled by Alternative Rock to learn guitar and emulate the greats. Decades later their paths aligned and a conversation paying homage to 90's Grunge catalyzed the creation of Sonic Weekend, The Acoustic Grunge / Soul / Funk / Hip-Hop Experience. To kick things off, from 6 to 7:45 pm, there will be a FREE opening reception for the exhibit, CONVERGENCE, an exhibition of works by 2022 New Jersey Council on the Arts Fellowship Recipient, Andrea Epstein and Jersey City artist, Professor and Director of the Fine Arts Gallery at Saint Peter’s University, Beatrice M. Mady. Come by for the free artists' reception, and then stay for the chill vibes of SONIC WEEKEND.
