We are hiring! Join US! As a Porter at Related Management Company (RMC), your work is essential to a clean, safe, and beautiful property. You’ll perform upkeep and janitorial duties so that your property is always in great condition, demonstrating pride in your building and grounds. In this role, you’ll also have the opportunity to learn new skills, working closely with the maintenance team on small repairs and preventative activities. You’ll have the opportunity to learn, practice, and apply new skills for the next steps in your career in partnership with your property’s leaders too. Join us as a Porter, and see what’s possible for your career at RMC. Essential Functions: Perform upkeep of the property’s common areas and grounds to standard. Engage in minor maintenance work in coordination with building maintenance team. Assist in preparation of vacant units with maintenance team. Provide excellent customer service to residents while performing job duties. Inspect property and equipment regularly to ensure proper functionality. Perform snow removal and/or landscaping as needed. Maintain building supplies and inventory in proper condition. Communicate with management to address safety concerns as needed. Support site and office operations as assigned by manager. Work split between 2 properties, Must be able to travel between 2 properties that are 3 miles apart. 1+ year building porter, cleaner, or groundskeeper experience. Must be reliable and have experience working with cleaning chemicals Must be able to operate small machinery, power and hand tools. Must be a team player and be able to work with little supervision. Excellent time management skills and work ethic. Maintenance knowledge is a plus.
