Scramble-style golf tournament benefiting the Blythe Madelynne Speer Foundation. On September 15, 2020, Blythe Madelynne Speer—beloved daughter, sister, and friend—passed away. For the fifteen years and one hundred and twenty-two days she walked this earth, she lived with joy and brought joy to all who were lucky enough to know her. It is no exaggeration to say that Blythe invited everyone to the table, took time to connect with people and animals, and brought sunshine everywhere she went, even in the pouring rain. The Blythe Madelynne Speer Foundation exists to broaden Blythe’s compassionate reach by giving to those in need. The Foundation will help fund an endowed scholarship in Blythe’s name for students at Baylor University; will contribute to animal rescue and care; and will partner with the MISS Foundation, which helps grieving families get the mental health care resources they need.
