Save the date and join Visions Leadership for our 5th Annual Zot Tank. Come see how students make a difference on our campus! ABOUT ZOT TANK Launched in 2018, Zot Tank was created by ASUCI Commissioners Peter Trejo & Christina Yue as a platform for students taking the University Affairs course, Visions Leadership, to present their advocacy projects to fellow students and a select judges’ panel. Inspired by the ABC American business reality television series, Shark Tank ©, the panel of judges features UCI staff and Visions alumni that pose questions and provide feedback on the projects and presentations for further implementation while recommending funding awards in real time. Zot Tank features projects that have been in development throughout the Academic Year and have the potential to be further implemented & executed. Past projects from Visions Leadership include the: UCI Now App, STEAM & ACAP University Affairs Courses, ZotAdopt, Portable Chargers Initiative, Library Collaboration Room Initiative, Library Technology Rental Initiative, Napeater Kits, Free Pads and Tampons Initiative, and more. ABOUT VISIONS Visions Leadership is a 1.3 unit two-quarter leadership and professional development program with the goal of planning and implementing advocacy projects to enhance the student experience on campus. Our two-quarter program involves a weekly class that uses a broad range of speakers and engaging professional and student-led workshops. Throughout the program, students are provided with support and opportunities for personal growth through interpersonal mentorship groups.
