Cops & Barbers is a Town Hall event where the general public and local police come together for open and candid discussions . Cops & Barbers is a Town Hall meeting sponsored by the 100 Black Men of Charlotte in partnership with CMPD, Matthews PD and Standing Ovation Barber Shop . The event is free to the public. Refreshments will be served. We will have open discussions about policing, police use of force, police & community relations and more. Cops & Barbers will be moderated by Fred Shropshire, News Anchor for WCNC Charlotte. Clark A. Pennington, Chief of Matthews PD and Chief Johnny Jennings of CMPD will be attending the Town Hall
