Join us for a fun-filled celebration of music, childhood, & purpose as we hold our annual SAGA Spring Play-in & Fundraiser! WHAT: A Play-in is an iconic Suzuki event, celebrating the legacy of Japanese educator and humanitarian Dr. Shinichi Suzuki (1898-1998) and bringing together all levels of Suzuki-trained students. Dr. Suzuki believed that all children could develop the ability to play an instrument, and would encourage students to perform together in the community entirely by memory. WHO SHOULD ATTEND? SAGA Members and non-SAGA members We welcome all Suzuki trained music instructors, beginner to advanced students of Suzuki trained music instructors, parents, music teachers, and student musicians who are interested in seeing the Suzuki Method in action, and ALL supporters of arts education. All participants must sign a Waiver and Photo Release.COST: FREE and open to families * Donation accepted* Make a Tax-Free Donation to Our 2022 SAGA Scholarship Fund and help us reach our goal of $7000! Ford*** More details at www.georgiasuzuki.org/spring-play-in *Masks are encouraged but not required.* Our Spring Play-in will give students of Suzuki trained instructors throughout the state of Georgia an opportunity to come together and share their love of music while further developing stage presence, problem-solving skills, concentration, and respect for others. Students will perform together across development and age levels. Following the musical performance, attendees will have an opportunity to have professional Spring photos taken with their instruments, grab a tasty meal from the Unique Street Eatz Food Truck, and wash it down with an old fashioned malt milkshake by Westside Creamery with an option to transform it into an amazing "wacky shake" by Sabina's Sweet Shop. Attendees can also get their faces painted, pick up a balloon sculpture, and bounce to their heart's delight in an extra-large bounce house!
