Join The Town of Mount Pleasant after the Mayors Art & Music program for concert on the front lawn of Town Hall. It is undeniably true that from the mid-1960s to the early 1970s some of the most melodic, atmospheric, and subtly political American popular music was written by residents of, or those associated with, Laurel Canyon. This performance, the 8th original work produced by the Village Repertory Co since going on the road beginning in September 2020, presents a very special tribute to trail blazing women whose music defined a generation -Joni, Cass, Linda, Carole, Janis and more. This event is FREE, but Eventbrite RSVP ticket is required. Don’t miss this theatrical event in an OPEN AIR setting under the stars!! Bring your own chairs and blankets. Picnics are allowed.
