Hosted by USA National Miss Carolina Coast, Zoe Noelle Whitehead, in collaboration with the Stacy Jones Foundation, Inc. Zoe Noelle's Big Hat Brunch for Nanna is an event designed to pay homage to her maternal grandmother, Mrs. Stacy Jones, who passed away in March 2018 to pancreatic cancer; however, she was also diagnosed with lupus in 2002. Mrs. Jones lived a great life in spite of her health conditions, and she always ensured to make those around her smile. Though research has come a long way from when Mrs. Jones was first diagnosed with lupus, there is still no cure, but education will be key to learning how to manage symptoms. Dr. Shenae Whitehead, who is the daughter of Mrs. Stacy Jones, will be the guest speaker and she will discuss the relationship between lupus and mental health. Guests will be able to enjoy a full elegant brunch menu with assorted non-alcoholic mimosas! We will also be raffling off lupus wellness baskets and proceeds will go towards the SJ Foundation Inc. scholarship fund.
