Description

Circles of Hope is a traveling community interactive art experience to inspire community engagement to take action in our community. Circles of Hope is a traveling community interactive art experience to invite us to have conversations that move our communities in a positive direction. It is a visual tapestry of intentions that helps bring people together to inspire action for sustainable change regarding cultural diversity, climate change and other local and global issues affecting their future. When exhibited, the circles are strung across the space in rows to create a large hanging mobile. It will be hung in a large enclosed catering tent. People are invited to walk through it. It becomes a meditative experience when people begin to see and feel the collective vision of others. This shared experience empowers them to get involved and take action to #makeearthdayeveryday. The three day exhibition will include the hanging mobile, interactive art table, activities, food trucks and opportunities to have conversation with community members to inspire community engagement to take sustainable action for a healthy planet, people, prosperity and peace Opening Reception FRI, April 22 5p-7p Non-Profit-Palooza SAT, April 23 10a - 6p Closing Ceremonies SUN, April 24 11a - 2p (includes yoga, tai chi, gratitude circle and more) Participating community nonprofits include Book Nation of Dreamers, Savannah Youth City, Blessings in a Bookbag, Renegade Paws Rescue and more to be announced!
