GLEN BURNIE, MD — A 12-inch force main break caused a 102,400 gallon wastewater overflow in Glen Burnie Wednesday. Anne Arundel County Department of Public Works officials report that 99,400 gallons of the overall overflow entered a tributary of Sloop Cove before the spill was contained. The cause of the break has not been determined. Signs alerting the community have been posted and the area was cleaned and limed.
