Join representatives from the City of Pittsburgh and Automotus in kicking off the Pittsburgh Smart Loading Zones program!
Commercial and app-based delivery is growing rapidly, leading to increased congestion, emissions, and safety hazards in urban areas. To address this challenge, the City of Pittsburgh is launching a one-year pilot with curb management company Automotus to create more efficient and safe curbside loading zones.
Join us in Market Square on Monday, April 25 at 12pm to kick off the Smart Loading Zones program! Hear from City and Automotus partners on the ways these dedicated zones can increase delivery efficiency and parking turnover for local businesses, improve street safety, decrease traffic emissions, generate additional revenues and influence better traffic policies for the City of Pittsburgh. Attendees will also be given a short demo & walk-through of a Smart Loading Zone in Market Square.
This event is open to the public. Press, community members and local businesses are encouraged to attend. Light refreshments will be offered.
