Adopt-a-street clean-up in Mesa, AZ LCAZ has adopted Greenfield Rd between McLellan & McDowell from the City of Mesa through their adopt-a-street program. Our job is to keep it litter free! We’ll be out there cleaning the first Sunday of every month and we’d love your help! Right now this event is for those aged 12 & older. You will need to wear a safety vest and sign a waiver for the city. This section of the road is undeveloped (no sidewalk) and traffic travels at 45mph minimum. Buckets, grabbers, gloves and trash bags will be provided. Bring a reusable water bottle (we’ll have water on site to refill), snacks, wear protective clothing (long sleeves/pants, closed toed shoes, sunscreen, hat). We’ll meet at Self-Development Preschool parking lot on the east side of Greenfield just south of Ivy (1721 N Greenfield Rd). After a quick safety talk, we’ll cross the street and begin our work.
