Design and print using our collection of wood and metal fonts! Our classes offer a fun and beginner-friendly hands-on introduction to letterpress. It's an ideal opportunity for anyone who would like to acquire a practical knowledge of this craft at a beginners level. Novice printers are welcome too! Participants experience the entire process of letterpress, from composition (hand-setting type), inking, to printing (pulling prints). All materials are provided but please wear comfortable shoes and clothing you don’t mind getting inky! Aprons will be provided. We suggest bringing a notebook and pencil for note-taking and coming up with ideas. The following measures are in place to make teaching classes safe for everyone: • Class capacity 4 people, to allow for social distancing. • The class leader has been fully vaccinated • Hand sanitizer will be provided • Cancellations – If you, or anyone you have been in contact with, is feeling unwell we ask you not to attend the class. We will try to transfer your ticket to a future date where possible.
