Company Information: BlissBound Hound began as a partnership in 2014 and has grown into a small team of pup lovers. We are a full scale dog care company that provides walking, training, grooming, and wellness care in addition to small format retail at our Uptown Oakland storefront dog spa location. We use proprietary technology including an app and a behavior matching tool developed by us. We are looking for people with a strong work ethic and a love of all things dog to join our family. This role will give you the opportunity to train for skilled trades roles if you wish, and provide paths to rapidly increase your income and even move into management roles for the right people. BlissBound Hound is the place to work for dog lovers. There is a ton of potential for growth within our company! Position: As a small company that provides a variety of services, this dog walker position requires you to wear many hats. You may be required to transport and walk/care for dogs 4-6 hours per day as needed Monday through Friday. For the right candidate this roll would serve as training for a field management position. Responsibilities and duties: Complete training program. Maintain BBH standards and client satisfaction. Use/understand business' app and portal. Complete progress reports from phone daily. Transport dogs in your own vehicle. Walk dogs on-leash in packs of up to six at a time. Manage up to six dogs off leash in public fenced play areas. Constantly access the needs, happiness and proper care of dogs in your group. Qualifications and Skills: Valid CA driver license, clean record and own vehicle. Pass a background check and DMV record check. Physically capable of working on your feet and continuous moderate to high physical activity for a full 8 hour shift. Capable of staying highly alert throughout the day, execute problem solving and critical thinking. Genuinely have a passion for dogs and desire to help them thrive. Flexible and adaptable.
