Liberals didn't think much of George W Bush. Conservatives didn't think much of Barak Obama. But when they were replaced by the next president, although there was some grumbling and finger pointing for a while, mostly we moved on. The new administrations "marked their territory" and made changes and their political ideologies soon became clear and the other side accepted them as current, of course, planning on changes in the next election. This seems not to be the case with this change from Trump to Biden. Liberals seem not willing to let Trump go. Their rants on him are never ending. And by doing so, they are keeping his presidency, now fifteen months gone, alive. And when they slam him, even though his administration is long gone, conservative have to respond. Not because of any love of Trump, but just to stick up for the conservative point of view. So if you want Trump to go away, just stop talking about him. Just let the dog go to sleep and then let the sleeping dog lie.
