IMAA brings the topics and conversation starters, Cafe Steam brings the coffee and tea, and you bring yourself just the way you are! This event is part of a monthly dialogue series. IMAA will bring a new topic that relates to refugees, immigrants, and cultural diversity. This month we will be talking about Ramadan. For the month of April, many Muslims fast from sunrise to sunset. Join us as we share more information about the observance of the fast, the two holidays before and after the fast, and share personal experiences from those who observe fasting. Come for a couple hours of meaningful conversation and hopefully you will leave the dialogue feeling more enriched, reflective, and self-aware. Or, at the very least, you will leave with yet another one of Café Steam's delicious coffee or tea drinks in your stomach.
