RESCHEDULED! Please join us on April 26th in Rochester to discuss The Crime Crisis: building community trust and safe neighborhoods.
Rising crime is a major concern for most Minnesotans, but what can community members do about it? This presentation will cover current crime trends, an overview of the criminal justice system, the role of key officials in fighting crime, and proven strategies to reduce crime. Because fighting crime is primarily a local, community-based endeavor, attendees will learn what they can do to build a strong relationship of mutual trust between law enforcement agencies and their community, a critical step to maintaining public safety and effective policing. The presentation may also include a panel with local law enforcement leaders and crime experts.
