The Wayzata Yacht Club (WYC) will host the annual New Member Meet & Greet to connect people who want to crew with skippers/boat owners. The Wayzata Yacht Club (WYC) will host the annual New Member Meet & Greet on Thursday, April 28, 2022 @ 6:30-8:30 pm. This event provides opportunities for new members who are looking to connect with a boat as crew, and new or existing skippers and boat owners looking for crew for their racing campaign, to mingle and establish new connections before the season is in full swing. To get the most out of the event we suggest: People looking to connect with a boat: Be prepared to share your potential availability and any sailing/racing experience (if applicable)Boat owners/skippers: Be prepared to share details of your sailboat and the plans for their 2022 racing campaign If you are unable to attend, please email your info to [email protected] and we can help you get connected Who should attend: People new to the club who are curious about sailboat racing and/or looking to connect with a boat as crewSkippers/boat owners looking for new crewCurrent WYC members who are accompanied by a guest looking to learn about sailing/WYCCurrent WYC members willing to volunteer for this event, such as set-up, registration, grilling, clean-up, etc. (Note: members volunteering should sign-up at wyc.org/volunteer)
