Oakland guitarist looking to start rock band

Hey I am an Oakland guitarist looking to either start or join a band. I am interested in playing rock music overall, but influenced by folk and blues, with a punk energy. I am also quite fond of stoner doom metal grooves and am interested in seeing how that can be mixed with other influences, also with a folky-spaghetti western type vibe to it. I suppose a good way to describe my musical vision is very melodic folk songs dipped in black sabbath-style syrup, so well-composed pretty songs, but made rough and heavy, with a drop of nostalgia and melancholy. I am 29 years old and have my own transportation, but not a place to practice at the moment. I know a lot of posts here are looking for musicians ready to commit to an already-signed band with shows already lined up, but I was looking to start things off a little more low-key with some jams to get to know one another musically, and then write our own material to eventually play live! I played in a bluegrass band and a stoner doom band in college and have been craving the feeling of making music with other musicians ever since. I am searching for a bass player, drummer, and vocalist! I would say my style of playing and writing songs is very riff and melody-oriented with a keen interest in harmonizing our instruments. I have ideas for the kind of music I want to create here, whether it be more rock or punk or perhaps a more post-punk sounding vibe, but I am really excited to just see where the music naturally leads too! If you are interested in perhaps starting a project, I would definitely like to hear from you! I will be happy to send some riff and melody ideas if interested.
