In celebration of Mother’s Day, The National Civil War Naval Museum presents a “Mother’s Day Tea”.
Please join us on Saturday, May 7 for a special Mother's Day Victorian Tea. We always have a wonderful time, meet new friends, and learn some interesting things about this important time in history.
Holly Wait, Executive Director, will present a fun program, "What's Under Your Petticoat?", an overview of ladies’ undergarments during the 19th century. As always, we will serve delicious scones, pastries, clotted cream, and period petit fours along with hot tea and cool lemonade. The tea and program will last about 2 hours.
Consider bringing a lady who is dear to your heart - your mother, daughter, aunt, sister, or your best friend. What a unique gift for someone you cherish!
Ticket Price: $30 (includes keepsake cup & saucer)
*Limited seats, tickets must be purchased in advance and are non-refundable
