Description

Gravestone preservation class teaching do no harm methods. A Cemetery Conservators of United Standards class taught by certified conservators, Amanda Strickfaden, Marty Strickfaden and Bobbie Mathis, will be teaching do no harm methods of conservation. Six basic repairs will be taught including; cleaning, leveling, infill, epoxy, tablet reset and creating a slotted base. The fee is $40 per person and all supplies and materials will be provided. Individuals must make a payment to reserve a spot, by June 19th. The class breaks for a lunch, a box lunch will be provided with the class fee. Water and snacks will be available throughout the day. Please wear comfortable clothing and shoes (that you don’t mind getting dirty. The rain date will be June 26th.
