NEW HYDE PARK, NY — Police say they have arrested the man who shot a Northwell Health employee to death in a parking garage in New Hyde Park last week. Quay-Sean Renard Hines, of Bay Shore, is charged with second degree murder in the death of 33-year-old Amelia Laguerre, Nassau police said Friday evening. Laguerre, of Queens was shot multiple times in a publicly-accessible parking garage at 1999 Marcus Ave., which is owned by the hospital system, on the afternoon of March 31. Laguerre was rushed to a local hospital, where she was pronounced dead. Hines will be arraigned Saturday in First District Court in Hempstead. NCPD photo of Quay-Sean Renard Hines
