2022 Earth Day Event & Fundraiser Bring in the Spring with us at the UYA FARM as we celebrate our local youth, clean & rejuvenate the Earth! Join Us April 22nd for our first event and fundraiser of 2022. We will have a multitude of events for youth to enjoy and engage the earth. Event Includes: Youth Plantings, Transplanting activities, Community Cleanup & much more! Bring a box with you to take home your activity/creations to use in your own growing spaces. There will be parking available on Wilshire Dr. and additional parking will be on Queen St, if necessary. We will also be raising funds to cover some of the development cost associated with the UYA Farm. Entry to the Earth Day event is free for all, but any financial donations or resources will be used directly for waterspout installation and materials/ labor for our upcoming youth learning area. If you are unable to attend the event but would like to make a contribution to our $2000 goal. If you have any supplies growing materials to donate, please call our office @ 313-922-7555 and we'll gladly schedule a time to meet/pick up donations. Provided while supplies last: Water, Beef Hot Dogs, Turkey/Chicken Sausages, Fruit Salad & Chef Salad We look forward to seeing you all there.
