Danvers To Host 'Meet The Candidates' Night

DANVERS, MA — Danvers residents looking to get to know some of the candidates running for statewide office in the fall are invited to attend the Danvers Democratic Town Committee's "Meet the Candidates" night on May 7. The event will be held at the Polish Citizens Club on Cheever Street. Dinner with a "European flair" will be served as residents get a chance to socialize with and asks questions of the candidates. The night will also pay tribute to Ted Speliotis in honor of his many years of service representing the 13th Essex District ar the State House. Tickets are $35 and are available at the door. The doors open at 6 p.m. with a buffet meal, speakers and time for individual conversations to follow. Proceeds will go toward the Danvers Dems Scholarship Fund and DDTC activities.
