Description

I am relocating to Texas and cannot take Zak with me. He is an 8 years old short-haired domestic tabby. Indoor only although he is leash-trained for brief outdoor walks in a quiet back yard. He is very affectionate, friendly and approachable. He loves to sit on laps. Purrs like a little steam engine. Really enjoys human company. No idea how he will react to other cats - he's only been a single cat since I've had him. In mid December of last year he had his check-up at Commencement Bay Animal Hospital and was given a clean bill of health. He weighs about 13 lbs., which is ideal for his frame size (he is not obese). All viral tests were negative, so no feline leukemia or feline HIV, and he is negative for gastrointestinal parasites as well. His teeth are nearly perfect. ID chipped and registered with PetKey.org He isn't fussy about food - I've trained him to eat both wet food and dry kibble, three times a day (no free grazing). 100% litter box trained. He is a regular user of his scratching post and he doesn't chew on other things - my furniture has no scratches or other damage (other than a bit of fur, but he's not a heavy shedder at all). I brush him daily and he really enjoys it. I will include a nearly-new rigid cat carrier and whatever food we still have when you adopt him. And also his Purina Tidy Cat Breeze hooded litter box with supplies (litter pellets and pee-pads). There is a $40 adoption/relocation fee. I reserve the right to decline adoption if I feel that his new owner won't be the right fit for him. Please no emails. Text or call if interested.
