Celebrate Earth Day with us as we explore Bayou Texar! Join us as we explore the great outdoors with the City of Pensacola Parks and Recreation Department! As we paddle Bayou Texar we will use the iNaturalist app to identify different plants and animals we encounter along the way and stop at a small island to remove trash. If you have your own kayak you are welcome to bring it, but you must still register. We are providing a limited number of kayaks and necessary gear thanks to the City of Pensacola Parks and Recreation Department. After the paddle you can stick around and enjoy the Pensacola Earth Day fest from 10-4 at the Bayview Center! Participants must be at least 12 years old and capable of paddling independently for the duration of the trip. Any children under 18 years old must be accompanied by an adult.
