5K to support the arts. Come dressed as your favorite Broadway Character for this fun 5K! We will be giving out awards for the 3 best costumes!! You are welcome to walk or run this 5K. The proceeds from this race help local composer David Dilsizian take his original musical “Dear Mom, I’m Gay!” to New York City. The Musical has performed to sold out audiences in Chicago and Grand Rapids. For the cast, crew and musicians to travel to NYC will cost about $10,000. Joining us for this run will help these talented local performers have a once in a lifetime opportunity to be seen by Broadway producers. This is a great way to work out, have fun and support the arts.
