Harper named WIHS Community Outreach Coordinator

WIHS 104.9 FM Christian Radio on air announcer Matt Harper is now serving as Community Outreach Coordinator. In his expanded role, Harper is building relationships with area pastors, churches, ministries and businesses. He is also assisting with promotions and coordinating WIHS' presence at area conferences, festivals, fairs and other types of Christian and community events. Born and raised in Minnesota, Harper is a graduate of Heritage Christian Academy in Karlstad, Minnesota and Northland International University in Dunbar, Wisconsin. Prior to joining the staff of WIHS in 2019, he served as a Speech & Drama Instructor at Northland International University for four years and as Pastor of Truth Baptist Church in South Windsor for 15 years. Matt and his family reside in East Hartford.
